Well, given that every other blog I've read today contains a cheery message of welcome to 2006 it would seem churlish not to join in. So happy new year!
This is a bit of an interim post. Since I last blogged a couple of weeks ago I finished up my pre-Christmas work responsibilities (including the residential I mentioned in said post, which I plan to blog a few thoughts on...) and then headed into a couple of weeks of (not quite uninterrupted) holiday. It's been great to have real time out. I managed to strike a balance between family time, catching up with plenty of people and having time on my own.
This week the plan is to slowly get my head round the reality of going back to work gradually as the week progresses. The plan is to finish cleaning and tidying the house tomorrow(...) and then spend some time reflecting, reviewing and evaluating some of the stuff that happened last term. As well as having more family time, catching up with more people and having time on my own. We'll see what happens...!
